Truly, you get used to tubes and hoses and beeping equipment and meds and syringes and alcohol swabs and endless rounds of doctor visits, but it is all temporary, and one by one you get discharged from specialists and the equipment company picks up that last O2 tank and you start to forget it all! The main thing is to TRUST... makes me think God has a plan for us type-A moms. Continue to be such a strong advocate for your baby. Stay healthy! But the bigger she gets the stronger she'll get, and her setbacks will get smaller and smaller until you finally get to bring her home! Our prom baby was on oxygen until he turned 1, and it's really not a big deal. Kind of a pain because you're always dragging a hose around, but you'll handle it just fine.
