Lee!!!! That is so awesome! I love seeing how far she's come. Your hard work is paying off!!! I have also loved hearing about you making her formula. She is so blessed to have you! praying for continued wisdom and peace!
Married to a sweet husband and mother of two little girls, my life is truly blessed. I was on bed rest with my second child for four months after my water broke when I was just 14 weeks pregnant. We were told that our baby would most likely die before or shortly after birth, but we prayed and trusted in a God who is sovereign over all things, including this seemingly hopeless situation.
situation.
Our baby, Margaret Lee, was born at 29 weeks gestation in November 2009 and spent two and a half months in the NICU. Every since she came home we have been fighting various battles including breathing issues, feeding problems, GERD, physical delays, and severe torticollis. Nonetheless, all of the doctors we see are amazed that not only is she alive but how well she is doing considering that she was without amniotic fluid for 14 weeks of my pregnancy. We are thankful to God for what He has done in our lives and continue to rely on Him during this second year of our preemie/PPROM journey.
*that God will lead us to the best doctors who can sucessfully treat her torticollis
*for normal and healthy development
*that she will overcome her feeding issues soon
*for strength and faith for our family
"Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children..."
