Praise

The brain scan came back normal. No brain bleeds. We are praising God for this great news. Maggie is doing great tonight, just visited her and she opened her eyes at me for the first time. They took off her eye mask and at the sound of my voice she struggled so hard but finally got them open. It was the first eye-to-eye contact we have had. One of the most special moments we've had by far. I am so excited to be able to hold her, whenever that time comes.

  1. Thanks so much for updating your blog-- I've enjoyed watching God play out this little miracle in your lives. God is so much bigger than it all! We're continuing to pray for quick and healthy growth on Maggie's part so she can join you, Justin and Mary Lawrence at home soon!

  3. Lee, I know there are so many details I don't know but it just sounds like she is doing so very well given all the circumstances. I am so glad you've blogged about this and are able to look back at specific prayer requests and see how they've been answered. I'm so happy about Maggie's scans and the ventilator being turned down. Hunter and I will continue to pray!

  4. What a blessing to hear. I can only imagine what it felt like to hold eye contact with her for the first time. Thanks again for keeping us all updated as each day goes by. One day soon when our whole family is together and the kids are running around playing this will be such a bittersweet memory. And then we can all give thanks to our Lord who has blessed each and everyone of us.

    Love to all!
